How a fitness studio owner got unstuck in one hour

Who she is and what she wanted

She owns a women’s fitness studio, built on her background as a physical therapist. She wanted more members in the door, enough to move into one bigger location.

The work she hated

Some of the work was small. Every day, someone on her team took the class programming from a spreadsheet and rebuilt it by hand in Canva so it could go up on the screen in the studio.

Some of the work was big. A new marketing website had been in development for over a year, and now it was being rebuilt on a new platform. It was paid for, it still wasn’t live, and she didn’t like how it looked. Without a site she was proud of, she put off the one step that mattered most: lead generation.

She knew she was good at what she does, and she was watching peers with the same skills pull ahead. So why was she stuck? Left alone, it meant another year of revisions, no new leads, and the same screen built by hand every morning.

What made it scary

She had never used Claude, and design isn’t her expertise. Moving on meant setting aside a year of work on the new site and trusting something she’d never tried.

What we did, and how fast

We started small, to show her what Claude can do. She connected her spreadsheet, showed Claude one of her existing screens, and watched it build the next one itself, no Canva needed. Before we moved on, she saved it as a skill so her employee can run it every day.

Next, we took a bigger swing. The new website was supposed to bring in leads, but it had become the blocker. So instead of waiting on it, she handed Claude her existing site and the artwork she already loved, and it went to work through Chrome. Before the session ended, her homepage looked like one she was excited and proud to start marketing.

What she does now

Wins come in different shapes. The screen saved her team time every day. The homepage got her unblocked. But the biggest win was what happened next: once she saw it work on her own tools, she didn’t need me for the next step.

By the next morning she was editing copy and swapping photos herself, with plans to go live in a few days. She canceled her call with the website designer, upgraded her Claude plan, and sent a colleague my way. Now she can focus on what she actually needs: leads.

“I was awake at like 2 AM thinking about all the ways the robot can help me… my mind has just gone bananas about ways that this cannot only help me but help so many people in my field.”
